Father Adelme, abbot of Aulps Abbey, challenges you to open his precious chest filled with gold coins, strictly guarded by the cellarer monk, and leave with one of them...
To do so, you will need to discover the three numbers that open his padlock. Keep your eyes peeled, count, explore, imagine... and above all, have fun!

Unusual guided tour of the monastic estate
Our cultural mediators introduce you to monastic life through a participatory tour. This allows you to become an active participant in your own tour. Using props, you will recreate the gestures and attitudes of a typical day in the life of a monastic community: singing in the church; changing clothes in the sacristy; meeting in the chapter house; washing in the lavatorium; eating in the refectory; and strolling through the cloister galleries.
In French: every Thursday in July and August, at 4pm – no extra charge on top of the admission fee.
In English: every Tuesday in July and August, at 4pm – no extra charge on top of the admission fee.
Advance booking required for groups all year round.
